Entrepreneurship is not for Everyone

Why This Podcast?

I started Entrepreneurship Is Not for Everyone to share the truth about entrepreneurship: the good, the bad, and the in-between. Too often, we only see the polished version of success. This space is about honesty, resilience, and reminding people that entrepreneurship isn’t just about building a business - it’s about building yourself.

  • Honest conversations with entrepreneurs from different industries
  • Lessons from failures as much as from successes
  • Clarity to help you decide if this path is right for you
  • Encouragement without sugarcoating - stories you can relate to, whether you’re just starting, scaling, or thinking of moving on

Entrepreneur Life

I moved to the UAE 15 years ago. As the Founder and Managing Director of EZONE (a business setup services company in Dubai), I've helped almost 5,000 entrepreneurs set up and grow their businesses in the UAE over the course of my 13-year career in business setup. Along the way, I've celebrated big wins, but I’ve also faced the struggles that don’t often get talked about - burnout, sleepless nights, financial risks, the complexities of managing people, the pain of broken trust, and the personal journey of self-discovery that comes with building something from the ground up.

That's why I created my podcast, Entrepreneurship Is Not for Everyone. Because behind the highlight reels are real challenges. This podcast is about unfiltered conversations with entrepreneurs who’ve succeeded, struggled, pivoted, or even walked away. It's where we talk about the messy middle - the lessons, sacrifices, and truths that no textbook or video can teach.

Day-to-Day Struggles

Entrepreneurship is exciting, but it’s not always easy. There are moments of self-doubt, financial risks, and days that feel like a never-ending balancing act. As a parent, business leader, and community builder, I know firsthand the challenge of wearing many hats. Still, those struggles are what make the wins more meaningful and the journey worthwhile.

My Philosophy

I believe in leading with a grateful heart. Gratitude has shaped every part of my journey—from the people who opened doors for me, to the lessons I’ve learned through challenges.

For me, true success comes from loving what you do, not chasing money in everything. When you put passion and purpose first, the rewards naturally follow.

I also live by the principle of givers gain. When you give—whether it’s time, knowledge, or support—you create opportunities not just for others, but for yourself. It’s the law of karma: what you put out into the world always comes back, often in ways you least expect.

That’s why my focus is not just on building businesses, but on building people, relationships, and a ripple effect of good that lasts far beyond any deal or transaction.

Beyond the Business

When I’m not leading EZONE or recording podcast episodes, I’m in full “life-juggler” mode - raising three teenagers, keeping up with my golden retriever, siberian husky, loving cat, and finding time for catching up with friends over coffee (or whiskey), reading books, listening to music, expressing myself though fashion, and travelling the world.

I’m also a very active community leader, now serving my second term as a Board Director of the Philippine Business Council Dubai & Northern Emirates - a non-profit organization licensed by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce to support bilateral relationships between the Philippines and the UAE, as well as the one million Filipinos living here.

I believe Filipinos are underrepresented in leadership and business, and part of my mission is to change that narrative—removing stereotypes, building bridges, and empowering more Filipinos to step into spaces of influence and opportunity.
